For supercar enthusiasts, a track day is the ultimate way to enjoy your vehicle. It’s a rare chance to push your car to its limits without worrying about speed limits, traffic, or potholes.
On the track, you can fully experience your supercar’s capabilities, from its thrilling acceleration to its precision handling, all in a controlled environment.
But track days aren’t just about the rush – they’re also a great opportunity to sharpen your driving skills. Whether it’s improving your cornering technique, mastering braking points, or learning how to handle your ultimate sportscar at speed, there’s always something to learn.
Many tracks even offer professional coaching to help you build confidence and take your abilities to the next level. They are also a big part of the supercar lifestyle, bringing together like-minded car enthusiasts, no matter what age group.
It’s an opportunity to share the love of driving supercars, and discuss the workings and specifications of each other’s vehicles, and who’s got the best supercar!
Who are track days suitable for?
Whether you’re a beginner testing your limits, or a seasoned supercar club driver honing your skills, our exclusive track days are designed to accommodate everyone.
Track days are not a form of competitive motorsport but rather a controlled environment where you can explore the capabilities of both your supercar and yourself as a driver.
Often, a car’s performance exceeds the skill level of its driver, making track days the perfect opportunity to invest in driver coaching. By learning new techniques and honing your abilities, you can become a safer, more confident driver, fully equipped to get the most out of your vehicle.

Novices on the track will appreciate the structured, pressure-free environment where you can explore your high-performance car’s capabilities. You can also benefit from additional guidance, by doing a few laps of a circuit with an instructor to help build confidence and learn the basics of track driving. It’s not all about fast driving.
For experienced drivers, on the other hand, you can push your vehicles to the limit, reduce your lap times and refine your techniques. The key is to embrace this exciting opportunity – track days are as much about learning as they are about enjoying the drive.
How do I prepare for a track day?
To make the most of your track day, make sure you are prepared. Typically, these preparations will include …
- Car setup: Ensure your car meets the track’s noise and safety regulations, and you don’t overfill petrol tanks.
- Vehicle checks: Ensure your tyres are set to the recommended pressure for high-speed driving, and check your brakes, and fluids.
- Helmet: Most tracks require a BS116658 or ECE22-05 spec safety helmet, securely done up – if you haven’t invested in one, most venues can hire you a crash helmet.
- Clothing: Opt for long sleeves and trousers, as well as suitable footwear such as trainers.
- Documentation: Ensure you have your booking confirmation, driver’s licence and any other required paperwork such as track day insurance and an MOT etc.
Track etiquette: How to ensure an enjoyable day
Good track etiquette isn’t just about safety – it’s also key to ensuring everyone, including fellow supercar private club members – has an amazing time. While each track may have its own specific rules, here are a few general guidelines to follow:
- Pay attention to flags and instructions: The marshals are there to keep things running smoothly and safely. Always follow their signals – it’s essential and non-negotiable.
- Stick to overtaking rules: Only overtake when you feel safe and confident to do so.
- Warm up and cool down: Start your session at a steady pace to let your tyres and brakes reach their best performance.
- Know your limits: It’s exciting to push the boundaries, but make sure you stay within your confidence of driving ability, and the limits of your supercar that you feel it can handle.
